Our client is an internationally renowned ship owner who are currently expanding their fleet over the next 3 years. Our client is also diversifying currently by bringing new vessels to their fleet to respond to the ever increasing need of mobile production platforms. They currently own a sizable fleet of LNG vessels as well as offshore assets, tankers and dry cargo ships.
 

You will be working as the commercial person in charge on a small group of LNG ships which means you will monitor and coordinate daily your ships and report on these to the Charterer, vessels, co-owners and shareholders. This position requires you to oversee all the contractual and monetary obligations related to your ships based on the charter parties and ship building contracts. You will report in to the commercial manager and also assist in carrying out new business feasibility studies for new ships including helping provide useful facts and intel during bid process’s which are being undertaken.
 

To be suitable for this role:
 

  • You will speak Spanish and English fluently.
     
  • Degree educated.
     
  • Familiar with LNG charterer or shipbuilding contractual terms and other associated agreements.
     
  • Right to live and work in the UK.
