An established engineering services provider is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support and develop its UK market presence across the marine, offshore, and oil & gas sectors.
This role combines technical understanding with commercial responsibility. You will be working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver engineered solutions, spare parts, and services to a well-established client base.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing spare parts and equipment sales across marine and offshore assets
- Managing and strengthening relationships with shipowners, ship managers, and operators
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the UK market
- Collaborating with operational and sales teams to support ongoing and upcoming projects
- Providing market intelligence, sales reporting, forecasting, and commercial input to management
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in technical sales within the marine, offshore, or oil & gas sectors (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of maritime equipment and spare parts
- Confidence engaging with technical and commercial stakeholders
- A structured, proactive, and customer-focused approach
