Country Manager

Consortio have partnered with a port agency whose positive presence is felt in 50 countries. Priding themselves on their energetic and engaging approach to ship agency, our client is focused on providing world-class and equal service at all ports where they are present! Attentive to the difficulties faced by ship owners and charterers, they have become experts in optimizing time and costs as well as minimizing hazardous situations to their clients. Commercially focused, our client has relentlessly expanded its business over the past 3 years and are now in a healthy position to hire a Country Manager to be situated in Hamburg.
 

In this role you’ll be provided the opportunity to build a team and, under the guidance of experienced executives, grow the brand’s operational presence from Hamburg. A healthy mix of operational responsibility and business development will define this role and the opportunity would naturally be best suited to one of life’s go getters! Success will be measured through your ability to manage accounts together with your capacity to onboard new clients and ensure that all operational tasks are executed smoothly.  

To be successful for this role, you will be:
 

• Commercially minded with an appetite for business development. 
   
• Able to manage multiple task at once with a keen attention to detail.
   
• Result driven and a passion for exceeding KPI’S.
   
• At ease with the latest IT solutions and able to handle smart phone technology.
   
• Fluent in German and English.
