As their trusted recruitment partner, Consortio is supporting their search for a dedicated Crewing Superintendent to join their expanding team.

 

As a key member of the crewing department, the Crewing Superintendent plays a vital role in ensuring vessels are safely and efficiently manned in full compliance with international regulations, company standards, and client expectations. This is a pivotal position, responsible not only for managing day-to-day crew logistics and planning but also for promoting long-term career development among seafarers, ensuring the highest standards of operational readiness across the fleet. The role requires exceptional coordination, communication, and organizational skills, combined with a strong understanding of the maritime crewing landscape.

 

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Prior seagoing experience as an officer, or a university degree with at least 2 years of experience in maritime recruitment or crew management
  • Excellent command of the English language and outstanding interpersonal abilities
  • Proven controlling, planning, and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of STCW, MLC, and Flag State requirements
  • Ability to manage crew performance, handle travel arrangements, conduct crew changes, and ensure medical, training, and documentation compliance
