Our client is looking to bring on someone with either a commercial or technical background who has a significant level of commercial awareness to step into a sales focused role. The role requires you to support the company with ongoing work with world leading ship owners and charters. You will also be assisting the company with business development through the generation of sales leads while also maintaining existing client relationships. You will be responsible for the sales effort in your respective regions and develop the market assigned. The role gives you the opportunity to be actively involved in trade shows, advertisements and other marketing communications helping to drive sales activities for existing and flourishing channels. Not only does the company provide a dynamic and challenging role but also facilitates a wide range of professional exposure to enhance your experience.
To be eligible for this role you need to:
- Strong commercial understanding and business acumen.
- Flexibility to travel between 60-80 days per year.
- Have knowledge of Shipping and Offshore sectors.
- Min +5 years proven sales track record in the maritime business.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Based in Singapore (right to live/work)
