Consortio is proud to be working with a globally respected name in shipbroking to support the recruitment of a Dry Cargo Shipbroker for their UK office. With a longstanding international reputation in S&P, Agency, Research, and Chartering, the company offers access to an extensive global network, a highly collaborative team environment, and a uniquely flexible culture that prioritises results over red tape. A true industry powerhouse with multiple offices across the globe - this is a great opportunity to join an open desk full of potential and make a lasting impression.

In this pivotal position, you will be focused primarily on the Atlantic market across the Handy, Supra, and Ultra segments. You’ll be empowered to hit the ground running, leveraging your established relationships and sharp commercial instincts to drive business within a highly autonomous and entrepreneurial environment. You’ll be surrounded by smart, down-to-earth colleagues who value impact over ego and performance over process. The role is based full-time in London, with working flexibility and international travel expected.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  •  8–10 years of experience as a Dry Cargo Shipbroker, ideally with a focus on the Atlantic market.
  • Demonstrable success working across Handy/Supra/Ultramax vessel segments.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and an appetite to contribute to a collaborative, results-driven team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and within a relaxed culture.
  • A network of industry connections and the motivation to build further relationships.

This is a London-based position that offers a rare blend of professional freedom and global reach. With a total earning potential of c.40% of your revenue, the financial rewards reflect the value you bring. The company also supports regular international business travel and offers an open, non-corporate culture where success is measured by outcomes, not appearances. You’ll have the chance to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the market and contribute to a brand that’s known and respected across the globe.

If you're ready to bring your energy and experience to a world-class organisation in a role that truly lets you make your mark, apply now with your CV to be considered.
