Our client are a seasoned ship owner operating a fleet of 62 modern fully pressurised, semi-refrigerated and ethylene capable gas carriers for the transportation of liquified petroleum gas (LPG). They are the crucial link in the international gas supply chains of leading oil majors throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas. As a result, they are responsible for the transportation of over 5.5 million tonnes of cargo between 200 different ports worldwide.
 

The role is for a Dry Dock Manager to visit the companies’ vessels while they are in Dry Dock and undergoing vessel maintenance and lay up repair. You will be additionally responsible for new equipment installations and new building projects. While you are visiting vessels you will be expected to successfully coordinate all team members in order to meet KPIs and target times. You will also be expected to suggest Dry Dock improvements and making the Dry Dock process run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
 

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Sailed as a 2nd engineer on LPG vessels.
     
  • Have experience in handling extensive layup repair projects.
     
  • Good command of written and spoken English
     
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
