An established specialist marine electrical business is seeking an experienced Electrical & Marine Technician to join its growing team and support electrical and marine projects across the UK and Europe.
The business has established expertise in marine electrical systems, delivering a range of electrical projects across the maritime sector, including leisure craft, commercial vessels, military fleets and superyachts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installation, inspection and testing, fault finding, commissioning and maintenance across a variety of marine projects. The role will involve working with navigation lighting, control systems, remote monitoring equipment, solar and battery systems, alongside planned and reactive maintenance.
Previous marine electrical experience is essential, with the position suited to a qualified electrician with strong practical and fault-finding capabilities and a background working within marine environments.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Level 3 electrical qualification or recognised electrical apprenticeship
- 18th Edition BS 7671
- Previous experience within marine electrical environments
- Strong electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding experience
- Experience with inspection and testing; 2391 or equivalent preferred
- Experience working with control panels and control wiring
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Europe and stay away overnight when required
