This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of ship design processes, classification requirements, and modern engineering practices, coupled with the ability to manage teams, allocate resources effectively, and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in ship design, marine consultancy, or engineering project management.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience within a technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of class rules, IMO regulations, and marine design standards.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and technical excellence.

This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking name in the maritime engineering sector—an organisation that combines technical expertise with an innovative approach to modern ship design.
