Our client is a leading shipping industry partner offering global shipping agency services and hub solutions to an array of clients and ports all over the world. Acting as the one stop solution for charterers, ship managers and ship owners/operators they have an immense global presence. The challenges that the shipping industry and ports around the globe have faced over the past 3 years has caused a lot of damage and resulted in several ship agents closing. However, despite these challenges, our client is constantly reaching new heights and is now looking to expand into different corners of the world.
The role is for a Global Key Account Manager, and you will be responsible for ensuring that new requirements agreed with existing clients are properly understood and implemented by hub and regional centres. You will be expected to maintain good commercial relations with clients and understand and interpret the contract terms that regulate the relationship with existing clients. Furthermore, you will ensure action points are fully implemented in a timely manner and with commercial efficiency.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in maritime and shipping and customer Service.
- Experience working in an international set up is preferred.
- Have strong customer service skills.
- Fluency in English – both written and verbal.
