Consortio Recruitment have partnered with one of our clients who are a leading M&E company in Hampshire who specilise in Mechanical and Electrical high quality packages with construction Tier 1 housing developers. As a company they also cover commercial sectors, such as care homes. With a re structure post covid they are in a very strong position with a turnover of £22M and around £14M of this is purely on the electrical side of the business and £12M on the mechanical side. Project wise these are valued at £400k to £4M and currently have around 40 projects on the go at any given time.

As a family run business for the last 78 years they have not lost this family feel to them, 3rd genration family members are now at the healm. Over this long period of time they have been kept the long standing relationships /customers built on this journey. Currently they have a great modern open plan office in the heart of Whitely and you will be joining the succesfull commercial team consisting of 12 persons in this team. As a Health And safety Advisor you will be joining them at a financially strong time and joining a motivated fantastic friendly team as-well.

As a Health And safety Advisor you will be joining them at a financially strong time and joining a motivated fantastic friendly team as-well. A Health and Safety Advisor is one of the most important roles in the business. You are responsible for the compliance and management of health and safety across our new build operations to ensure contracts are managed and completed to the highest standards.

Although no day is the same, you will investigate, advise, review, and instruct on all health and safety matters. You will be required to prepare records and reports to provide statistical information, working closely with our sub-contractor workforce, management, and directors within the company.

About you

  • NEBOSH· Construction Certificate in H&S or equivalent H&S qualification is essential
  • Experienced within the construction sector or M&E sector
  • Minimum 3 years experience

Package

  • Negotiable salary (very competitive) + Company car or car allowance 5k
  • Bonus structure in place with financial reward
  • 20 days annual leave + public holidays
