In recent times, they have entered the rapidly growing offshore Oil and Gas sector and provide well-equipped vessels and skilled crew for effective oil rig support, survey, dive and ROV operations. Furthermore, the company has developed its network of dedicated onshore and offshore services, making them one of the sectors only horizontally integrated operators. This role is for a HSE Manager, and you will be responsible for spearheading and overseeing the company’s health and safety programs and coordinating with different departments to gather date and assess existing programs related to HSE. Furthermore, you will be expected to implement solutions on issues and concerns and develop strategies to execute safety programs. In addition to this you will be responsible for the training of both office staff and seagoing crew on current health and safety policies and any new amendments that will occur. Finally, you will contribute to a proactive safety culture within the yard and drive safety leadership within all employees.
To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in science / engineering with additional professional qualifications in HSE and Fire & Safety.
- Have 12 years’ experience in HSE of which 6 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Have experience using TapRoot and other HSE Auditing Techniques.
- Have excellent knowledge of English.
