Our client is looking for someone new to join their IT department during this exciting period of infrastructure and system upgrades. As part of their navigation systems team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining network and server infrastructure, ensuring cyber security, and contributing to our replacement and upgrade projects. You'll be part of a team of four, with a rotation that includes on-call duties, ensuring services are available 24/7.

Operating in a unique environment, we provide full training for working at heights, offering a different experience from the ordinary tech role. Our client oversees safety, environmental protection, and trade promotion along 95 miles of the Thames.

We're seeking dynamic individuals with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team. While maritime experience isn't required, technical proficiency in server infrastructure, networking, and problem diagnosis is essential. You should be comfortable working at heights and committed to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities include maintaining navigation systems, diagnosing faults, contributing to maintenance plans, and project management. You'll also ensure compliance with GDPR and cyber security regulations, supervise contractors, and contribute to team development.

Essential qualifications include a minimum of five years' experience, a full driving license, and technical proficiency in server and networking infrastructure. Desirable qualifications include experience in the port industry, project management, and NIS directive knowledge.

If you're ready for a challenging role in a dynamic environment, apply now to join our clients team!
