Our client is a large international shipping business who have ships such as LNG, chemical and bulk. The role is for a Junior Vessel IT Support, and you will be responsible for providing first level of support and be the first contact for vessel IT Support. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with IT tickets and correctly log IT requests by call and email. Furthermore, you will offer day-to-day support to end user requests related to software/hardware for IT requirement. Finally, you will support the line manager to progress and complete any other assigned tasks, as necessary.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Have an IT Bachelors in IT or Computer Science.
     
  • Have basic technical skills and have a keen aptitude to learn innovative technologies.
     
  • Be fluent in English – both verbally and written.
     
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
