Why are we hiring?

We have grown out a large and successful team which has strong interests in the Irish recruitment markets. We have found the market to be very lucrative due to some of the differences between how UK and Irish recruitment companies work. We want to exploit our current success by pushing even further in to the Irish market and we want to do this by taking office space and growing a team in and around the Dublin area. To make this project successful though we want to hire someone to work from our head office for 12 months to fully integrate into our business and work closely with our 15 strong team. Once this person is fully integrated into our business we want this person to relocate to somewhere around Dublin to start hiring and growing our team in the region.

 

The job

We don’t have non billing roles in our business, so stage one of integration is to get up and billing. We will support you with a warm enough market to speed things up. Stage two is supporting managing our current UK based headcount so we can ensure there is synergy between how we like people to manage and how you do it. Stage three is move you to Dublin and hire around you to build out our team in Ireland as well as start heading in to new markets. The medium-term job description is to develop a thriving office in Ireland and grow it as much as you can. You can be a P&L holder with potential shareholding in the future.

 

What experience do you need?

We are flexible on how experienced the right person is. We could hire someone that is still a fresh manager or someone who has been doing it for years. The most critical part is that you have been hiring and firing and most critically developing recruitment consultants in a 360 environment whilst managing your own desk. For those with less experience we will train and support you on your journey with us.

You will need to work from our Southampton office 5 days a week until you’re ready to relocate (hopefully a year but could be longer depending on how you perform).

You must be okay with still billing. Some people are seeking a non billing role and this is not what this job is. If that's what you want, then we are not right for you.

Your target in year 1 will be under 100k a year BUT you will have one. It's important that the team you are hired to manage see you can practice what you preach.

You absolutely must understand the dynamic of our business is have fun and make money. We don't have a HR person in our company as in 10 years of business we have never had a single complaint to deal with from our staff!

We are seriously driven for success. If you're the type of person who likes to coast a bit in your job then don't consider us. We find coasters out very quickly and part ways. Only truly determined people need apply.
