Our client is an established marine consultancy company with over 100 years’ experience in the shipping industry. They effectively provide their consultancy services to a number of shipping companies within the industry. They have consistently provided a high-standard service through the dry market and constantly looking reach new heights. Due to the expansion within the company they are looking to add a Marine Engineer to their team of highly talented individuals.


Our client seeks to hire a Marine Engineer to support the team due to growth related vacancies. The position entails investigating and assessing marine engineering affairs. Requiring you to conduct on-site surveys with the production of the required documentation in regards to the investigation at hand. You will also be expected to assist and carry out any marketing activities required in the process.


To be eligible for this role you need:

  • Class 1 Certificate of Competency (STCWIII/2)
     
  • Off-shore experience as Chief or Second Engineer
     
  • Good written and spoken English
     
  • Willing to travel, frequently at short notice
