They get involved in everything from cargo surveys or casualties through to hull & Machinery as well as litigation cases.
Our client require a new person to join their team in the U.K due to the overflow of work that they have at present on the technical side. This leads them to need a new team member to join them on a mixture of both hull and machinery work as well as full blown accident investigation. This happens when a severe incident occurs and you will need to adopt a forensic style approach to ascertaining what has happened and gone wrong. You will often take your findings in to court cases presenting evidence in arbitration cases.
- Hold a Chief Engineers qualification .
- Have worked as a surveyor before preferably in the consultancy market.
- Have Duel Fuel experince.
- Have excellent written and spoken English.
- Have flexibility to travel up to 40% of your time.
