Our client is a global surveying, casualty investigating and marine consultancy. With offices on every continent and one of the largest teams of expert surveys in the market they have an excellent reputation for being the market leaders in their sector. They get involved in everything from cargo surveys or casualties through to hull & Machinery as well as litigation cases. 
 

Our client require a new person to join their team in the U.K due to the overflow of work that they have at present on the technical side. This leads them to need a new team member to join them on a mixture of both hull and machinery work as well as full blown accident investigation. This happens when a severe incident occurs and you will need to adopt a forensic style approach to ascertaining what has happened and gone wrong. You will often take your findings in to court cases presenting evidence in arbitration cases.
 

You must:
 

  • Hold a Chief Engineers qualification .
     
  • Have worked as a surveyor before preferably in the consultancy market.
     
  • Have Duel Fuel experince. 
     
  • Have excellent written and spoken English.
     
  • Have flexibility to travel up to 40% of your time.
