Consortio have partnered with one of London’s biggest pleasure cruise firms that are situated in the heart of London. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a 9 – 5 Monday to Friday. Due to expansion and new vessels being added to their fleet they are looking for an experienced Marine Engineer to join their team. 

They are looking to bring on a person with a background working with smaller vessel’s, no bigger than approximately 50 meters in length who can has a firm understanding of Flag State & PLA Regulations; ISM Code; MARPOL; Domestic Passenger Vessel Codes; IMO & statutory regulations and general marine legislation applicable to passenger vessels on the River Thames.

To be eligible for this role you need to:

  • Right to live & work in the UK.
  • Full UK Drivers Licence.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Ideally 10+ years’ experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sea or river going experience required, with preferred experience being onboard river vessels or passenger ships.
  • A professional and analytical Marine Engineer with a hands-on approach who delivers clear and concise thinking and the ability to interpret data and information prior to recommending and implementing solutions.
