The role involves overseeing the daily marine operations of a group of vessels, ensuring safe and efficient navigation, cargo handling and regulatory compliance. You will support vessels across all operational matters, engage with internal and external stakeholders, participate in inspections and audits, and contribute to the ongoing development of crew competence and operational standards. The position also includes involvement in training, performance assessments and incident-related support when required.
The requirements for this role are:
- Master Mariner Certificate of Competency
- Sailing experience as Master or Chief Officer on LPG/Ethylene vessels
- Strong digital capability and comfort working with modern operational systems
- Shore experience not required
- Ability to travel at short notice and manage a 24/7 on-call schedule
- Strong understanding of vessel operations, regulatory compliance and industry practices
- Excellent organisational, time-management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
