Consortio have partnered with a specialist organisation operating within the subsea telecommunications sector, delivering complex undersea fibre-optic cable installation projects worldwide. Due to continued business growth and increased workload, they are now seeking a Marine Project Engineer to join their team.

The Marine Project Engineer will support both project execution and tender activities, providing technical input for bids, reviewing subcontractor estimates, and assisting with the preparation and evaluation of Requests for Quotation for marine contractors. The role will involve coordinating suppliers, supporting contract negotiations, and contributing to the successful delivery of marine installation projects while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Experience within marine operations or a project management role in the marine installation industry
  • Knowledge of subsea cable installation activities and associated equipment
  • Strong planning and project coordination skills
  • Familiarity with quality, health and safety standards
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Full UK right to work
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel internationally
