Our client is a large international shipping business who have ships such as LNG, chemical and bulk. Due to recent expansion, they are on the lookout for a Marine Superintendent for their LNG fleet. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient navigation, mooring, cargo, and ballast operations of your assigned vessels. In addition to this you will prepare responses for the commercial team and charterers to ensure vessels are compatible for the ports and terminals planned. Furthermore, you will be expected to manage vessel operation efficiency as well as support with overall vessel operations.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Have more than 2 years sailing experience as a senior officer on LNG Carriers.
- Have a valid Master Certificate / License.
- Have an analytical and problem solving attitude.
- Fluency in English – both written and verbal.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
