A leading global ship management company with a diverse and modern fleet is seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to join their growing team. As a Marine Superintendent, you will be responsible for the overall marine management and performance of your assigned vessels, ensuring full compliance with company and industry standards. You will oversee the daily marine operations, vetting and inspection readiness, and support Masters and crew to maintain safe and efficient vessel operations. The role involves close coordination with technical and HSSE teams to uphold safety, quality, and vetting performance objectives, and to ensure the fleet remains compliant with international and oil major standards. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position that requires proactive involvement both ashore and onboard.
The requirements for this role are:
- At least 2 years’ experience as Captain or Chief Officer on chemical tankers
- Minimum 1 year of shore-based experience
- Strong understanding of TMSA, ISM Code, and oil major vetting processes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on safety culture
- Proficiency in English and ability to work effectively in a multinational environment
