Marine Superintendent

They are now looking to take on a equally dedicated Marine Superintendent for their Tanker and Bulk Carrier fleet.

As a Marine Superintendent, you will oversee vessel operations to ensure compliance with their HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include monitoring HSQE reports, developing and implementing practical procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, and MLC regulations, coordinating inspections, and leading incident investigations. Additionally, you will play a vital role in emergency response and internal audits to maintain their commitment to safety and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Master Mariner qualification with extensive seagoing experience as a senior officer on Tanker vessels.
• Minimum of two years of previous shore experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in regulatory and class requirements, as well as international standards.
• Familiarity with ISM/MLC/SIRE/CDI and TMSA requirements.
• Certification as ISM, ISPS & MLC Internal Auditor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in multicultural environments.
