The Opportunity

A UK-based organisation is seeking an experienced Maritime Project Manager to lead and deliver complex vessel-based installation and integration programmes. This role requires a structured and proactive manager who can balance cost, schedule, and quality across multiple stakeholders in a demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple maritime projects through the full lifecycle, from planning through to delivery.
  • Develop and manage project documentation and technical guidance packs.
  • Drive and oversee change processes, ensuring risks and impacts are fully understood and managed.
  • Act as the accountable project lead, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks and industry standards.
  • Track performance, control budgets, and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven background in project management within maritime, engineering, or defence sectors.
  • Experience delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects.
  • Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering or technical inputs into structured project deliverables.
  • Eligible to obtain high-level UK security clearance.
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK when required.
