Consortio have partnered with a global fire, marine, engineering and science consultancy. They provide consultancy and support to the maritime and shipping industries biggest companies. This company is a consultancy that is used by P&I clubs, ship owners, law firms and underwriters worldwide. They are looking for a dedicated  Master Mariner to join their team to become a Marine Consultant.

As a Marine Consultant you will be carrying out investigations and assessments and performing surveys related to Master Mariner matters. You will get to stand up in court and work with some of the leading P&I clubs, ship managers and underwriters. You will need to produce letters and reports to show your findings of the investigation so therefore need to have outstanding written and spoken English Skills. Our client would also be delighted to relocate European candidates to Asia for this role.

 To be eligible for this role:

  • Tanker experience ideally chemical and must have sailed up to a senior rank.
  • COC1 holder.
  • Have very good communication skills.
  • Your written English must read as if English is your first language (even if it isn’t).
  • Have a relevant degree.
