With decades of experience within the maritime sector, the organisation has built a strong reputation for delivering advanced naval architecture and full-service design solutions to leading shipyards across Europe. Known for their integrated approach, they support projects from initial concept through to detailed engineering and construction, ensuring technical excellence and seamless project delivery throughout the lifecycle.

They are now seeking a Naval Architect to join their growing team. This is a key position within the business, playing an important role in the design and development of complex yacht projects. You will work closely with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet both performance and regulatory requirements, while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation. The role is critical in supporting project delivery, solving technical challenges, and contributing to the continued success and reputation of the organisation within a competitive market.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering, with relevant experience in yacht design, shipbuilding, or a similar maritime environment
  • Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, stability, and structural design.
  • Proficiency in CAD and naval architecture software, with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings and calculations
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, liaising with multidisciplinary teams including design, engineering, and shipyard personnel
  • Proactive and solution-focused mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to manage technical challenges effectively throughout a project lifecycle
