Naval Architect/Engineer

Consortio have partnered with an innovative and highly specialised marine engineering business working at the forefront of high-performance yachts, advanced hydrodynamics and next-generation marine technology. Their work spans sophisticated yacht and vessel projects, including high-performance craft, foiling technologies and autonomous marine systems. Due to continued growth and an expanding international project portfolio, they are now looking to add an experienced Naval Architect / Marine Engineer to their technical team in Valencia, and you could be their perfect next hire.

They are looking for an experienced Naval Architect or Marine Engineer who can contribute across the full project lifecycle, from early concept and feasibility through detailed engineering, construction and final sea trials. You will be involved in whole-vessel engineering, systems integration, technical design, 3D modelling and production documentation, working closely with the wider engineering team and, depending on experience, taking responsibility for specific projects or technical work packages. The role will also give you the opportunity to work directly with suppliers, consultants and shipyards and get involved in commissioning and on-water testing.

To be eligible for this role you need to:

• Hold an MSc or PhD in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Yacht Design or a related discipline.
• Have a minimum of 5 years' professional experience within Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Yacht Design.Have experience working on yachts, high-performance vessels or other advanced marine projects.
• Be experienced with 3D modelling, technical design and engineering documentation.
• Have strong knowledge of naval architecture and marine engineering principles.Be proficient with Rhinoceros, Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software.
• Have experience with systems integration, including propulsion, mechanical systems, structures and onboard equipment.Have excellent English language skills.
• Be willing to relocate to the East Coast of Spain.

Experience with foiling yachts, power yachts, power catamarans, autonomous vessels, advanced composites, lightweight construction or high-performance craft would be highly advantageous. Experience with shipyard interaction, construction follow-up, commissioning, sea trials, classification or technical project coordination would also be beneficial.
