  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing operational teams.
  • Proven ability to manage vessel operations, voyage execution, bunkering activities and operational cost control.
  • Experience handling marine claims and liaising with P&I Clubs and other industry stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of commercial shipping operations and stakeholder management.
  • Knowledge of EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime regulations.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a hands-on operational environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Seagoing experience as a Deck Officer or Chief Mate would be advantageous but is not essential.

In return, the successful candidate will join a highly regarded owner-operated shipping company with a strong reputation in the market and a collaborative working culture. The position offers significant responsibility, direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence the operational performance of a diverse fleet within a streamlined management structure.
