Consortio Recruitment have partnered with a client and We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the cost of construction projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Groundworks / construction industry practices and regulations as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The responsibilities include measuring and quantifying the materials required for Groundworks projects, managing all commercial aspects of groundworks projects, placing orders and controlling costs etc.
Projects are in the range of £150k up to £10M in value and with repeat business they are in a strong position financially. As a business they have been successfully working across the midlands and delivering groundworks packages across retirement living, utilities/energy, and construction. You will be joining a small but strong commercial team of 4.
About you
- Live in commutable distance to Northampton
- 4 years minimum experience in groundworks, as a QS
