Our client is a well-established specialist in the global maritime technology and integrated-solutions sector, delivering advanced automation, power-generation and digital systems to a wide range of commercial vessels. With a strong reputation for technical innovation and sustainable engineering, the company continues to expand its service network across Europe and major international shipping hubs.
They are seeking a Sales Manager / Director to drive growth with shipowners, ship designers and newbuilding projects. Working closely with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders, this role requires the ability to lead complex sales projects from initial contact through contract negotiation, ensuring that proposed solutions meet demanding technical and commercial requirements. The position involves international travel and regular interaction with senior decision-makers across the maritime industry.
The requirements for this role are:
- At least five years of experience in back to back sales, business development, project sales or account management within the maritime or related technical sector.
- Strong technical education or background such as marine engineering, with understanding of complex electrical installations.
- Proven track record in developing new-build and retrofit business.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships and close high-value deals.
- Customer-focused mindset, systematic working style and excellent communication skills in Danish and English.
