Consortio has partnered with one of the most respected names in the dry cargo shipbroking sector – a family-owned business established in 1977 and headquartered in central London. Renowned within the global shipping community, the company boasts a diverse customer base comprising both Charterers and Owners, and proudly holds membership with the Baltic Exchange.

Following a sustained period of steady growth, the company is now looking to strengthen its Dry Cargo division by welcoming an experienced Competitive Broker to join its dynamic team. You’ll be part of a well-established operation that has built its reputation on reliability, integrity, and delivering results for clients across Handy to Supramax segments.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience fixing Handy to Supramax vessels.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Transferable accounts would be advantageous.
  • Capable of facilitating and executing deals independently and effectively.

This is a rare opportunity to join a company that empowers its brokers with a supportive structure, including an expert operations and post-fixture team, enabling you to focus on doing what you do best – broking. The business is built on a high-performance culture that values trust, professionalism, and long-term partnership. The successful candidate will receive a generous remuneration package and, depending on seniority, could be invited to join the company’s Employment Ownership Trust (EOT) – offering not just a job, but the potential to play a key role in shaping the company’s future. If you’re ready to take your broking career to the next level, apply now with your CV.
