Consortio Recruitment Group has partnered with a leading Civil Engineering company and we require a Senior Estimator to join them. Specialising in groundwork projects on Tier 1 housing developments, you will be joining a company with a turnover of 250 M per year and growing from strength to strength. Our client remain a privately owned family company enabling them to focus on being a safe and high quality civil engineering company.

The role will be office based and you will be joining a commercial team in this office consisting of a Trainee estimator, Commercial manager, Commercial Director, Quantity Surveyor and an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
What We’re Looking For
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Estimator. The purpose of the role will be to assist the Commercial Manager/Director in producing accurate take-offs and subsequent bills of quantities. The role will involve supporting and developing the commercial team including assistants and trainee’s.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the industry.
- General Knowledge of contractual terms within the construction industry.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel.Well organized with a strong work ethic.
- Effective communicator both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong mathematical ability.Skilled negotiator.
- Ability to identify & resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
