Our client is looking for soemone to join a vibrant and expanding international shipping practice, catering to a diverse clientele including owners, charterers, marine insurers, P&I and Defence clubs, traders, salvors, and shipbuilders.

They offer an attractive compensation package to qualified candidates. Specializing in high-end shipping, shipbuilding, commodities litigation, and general commercial litigation, alongside various wet shipping tasks, they have a track record of notable successes in reported High Court decisions and arbitrations over the past year.

This role provides a supportive platform for your professional growth and client development, offering opportunities for long-term career advancement.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Exceptional academic credentials and a proactive mindset
  • Strong technical expertise in disputes resolution, with experience in litigation in the Commercial Court and/or under LMAA, LCIA, and similar arbitration rules
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience in a shipping firm, or 5+ years for senior associates, possibly including in-house experience
  • Demonstrated potential for client development depending on seniority
  • Ambition, self-motivation, and diligence
  • Willingness to travel, present, and participate in conferences
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team or autonomously, with excellent communication skills
  • Capability to lead, motivate, train, and mentor junior staff members

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing firm with a promising future.
