Fantastic opportunity for an Estimator to join a large privately family-owned Construction Contractor who has still retained their family feel to them. The Estimator position is Small Works projects around the Peterborough area. The role will be based on their Peterborough office and will also be site-based.

The projects will be a mixture of frameworks on American RAF Bases in the East Midlands. This is a framework for the next 5 years which my client has secured and currently on, plus they also have frameworks for Peterborough Council and Lincolnshire Council County. The estimated values you will be delivering will range from £50k to £1million projects

The American RAF Bases are security cleared sites and the works that are being undertaken on the bases will be temp modular builds for new squadrons arriving on them. This is temp before construction new build has commenced in 2 years, refurb to existing buildings, infrastructure on all the bases and runways to name a few. There will be times when you will work on-site at the American RAF bases with the team set up and undertake the security clearance.

You will be part of the Minor Works Department, you will be part of a team responsible for meeting with Clients (local authority, commercial and residential) and preparing quotations up to a value of £50,000 - £1M.
