Due to continued environmental success, they are on the lookout for a Sustainability Assistant. This a new role and you will be responsible for planning, organising and implementing seminars and meetings on issues related to sustainability, such as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Furthermore, you will serve as a point of contact to deal with sustainability issues and be expected to attend meetings and conferences and report back on behalf of the director. In addition to this you will be expected to assist in monitoring and researching regional regulations in EU or UK that would affect the maritime industry. Finally, you will participate in cross functional teams to ensure that sustainability compliance is integrated into business decision making.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Completed studies in the maritime sector with a focus on environment and sustainability.
     
  • Working experience in maritime, sustainability or environmental area.
     
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
     
  • Fluency in English – both written and verbal.
