Our client is an internationally renowned ship owner who are currently expanding their fleet with interesting and exciting new vessel types joining their fleet. They work in both wet and dry sides of the market although this office core focus is tankers. They are big on internal promotion and only seek to hire externally once all internal options have been explored.
 

This role is a critical function inside our client which revolves around the management and maintenance of the company PMS system. They need someone to keep it fully up to date, and consolidate their database which is currently a live project. This person will have a great deal of internal responsibility and will be key in reporting to senior management on all of the metrics across the business. You will work very closely with the technical team and seafaring personal as you will be the in house expert on the system.

 

To be suitable:

  • Have got a senior ticket from sea on the engineering side or a degree qualification
     
  • Experience working with PMS systems
     
  • Excellent communication skills  
     
  • Have the current right to live and work in the UK
