Our client is a globally recognised maritime technology and safety organisation at the forefront of driving operational excellence and environmental stewardship across the shipping industry. With a mission to improve safety standards and promote sustainable practices, they partner with shipowners, charterers, and regulators to deliver data-led solutions that support responsible decision-making. Their digital vetting platform is widely used across the tanker and dry bulk sectors and is considered a benchmark for vessel risk assessment and inspections.

Following internal expansion, our client is looking to appoint a Vetting & Inspections Superintendent to support their global operations team. In this role, you will leverage your sea-going and technical expertise to assess vessel safety, manage inspections, and contribute to continuous improvements in vetting standards. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organisation that is shaping the future of safe and sustainable shipping.

Key Requirements for the job role:

  • Sailing experience as a Chief or 2nd Engineer.

  • Hold a STCW III/2 certification.

  • Experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar capacity role.

  • In-depth understanding of marine inspections, safety regulations, and technical standards.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Must be willing and able to travel internationally as part of the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maritime professional to join a forward-thinking organisation at the cutting edge of safety, sustainability, and digital transformation in shipping. The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing global team and enjoy a competitive salary, flexible working, and a meaningful role in improving industry practices.
