Consortio is thrilled to partner with a distinguished luxury cruise line that epitomizes the essence of sophisticated and intimate seafaring experiences. Rejecting the trend of larger, busier cruise environments, this cruise line offers a refined approach, steeped in five generations of maritime tradition. Their ships retain a classic charm, where cabins are genuinely cabins, and the journey holds as much significance as the destination. This collaboration aligns perfectly with Consortio's commitment to delivering unparalleled quality and personalized experiences in the cruising industry.

We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Engineer to join this esteemed cruise line, renowned for its exceptional service and family-run ethos. The 3rd Engineer plays a vital role in maintaining the technical operations on board, ensuring smooth and safe voyages. This position is crucial for the seamless functioning of the ship's engineering systems, emphasizing both planned and emergency maintenance. Join a team that values warm, uncrowded, and civilized experiences for guests, and be a part of a company that prioritizes tradition over trends.

Requirements:

  • Hold an STCW code A-III/1 Engineering Officer of the Watch license
  • Possess STCW Basic Training, Advanced Firefighting, and PSCRB certifications
  • Qualified as a High Voltage Operator
  • Experience in rank, preferably on cruise vessels
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English clearly and distinctly
  • Capable of working independently and as part of an effective small team

This role offers a competitive salary with a 4:2 work rotation (four months on board followed by two months' leave), a private single cabin, and company-arranged flights to/from the vessel. Seize this exciting opportunity to travel worldwide and contribute to a unique, family-oriented cruising experience.
