Our client is a large international shipping business who have ships such as LNG, chemical and bulk. The role is for an Assistant Engineer Superintendent, and you will be responsible for assisting the technical supervision of the fleet and dealing with routine and non-routine maintenance and repair under the supervision of the Engineering Superintendent, Fleet manager, and Technical Director. You will be expected to assist the above-mentioned parties with budget planning and the authorising of spare parts. You will be given the necessary training and support to facilitate career development and become an Engineering Superintendent in the years to come.
 

The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:
 

  • Sailing experience on Deep Sea Commercial Vessels. 
     
  • Experience with Diesel, ME and M&N Engines.
     
  • Fluency in the English the language (verbal and written)
     
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
