Following a period of growth, our client is looking to appoint an Assistant Manager – Bunkering to join their European office in London. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the procurement and delivery of bunker fuel for the company’s fleet operating within the European region. You’ll work closely with headquarters and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective fuel delivery while supporting the company’s broader commercial and environmental strategies.
 

Key Requirements for the job role:
 

  • Prior experience in the ocean-going shipping industry is essential.
     
  • Previous involvement in ship operations or bunker fuel procurement will be highly advantageous.
     
  • Commercially aware with a strong focus on cost-effective operations and risk management.
     
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
     
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and internal coordination with accuracy and professionalism.
     
  • Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
     
  • Willingness to travel overseas when required.
