Our client is seeking an Assistant QHSE Manager to support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of vessel management systems across an offshore fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating audits and inspections, supporting incident investigations and risk assessments, maintaining QHSE documentation and compliance records, and working closely with both onshore teams and vessel crews to uphold the highest safety and quality standards. The role will also involve mentoring Masters, Chief Engineers, and Safety Officers, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies, and contributing to wider QHSE projects across the business. Occasional international travel may be required.
The requirements for this role are:
- Degree qualified in Nautical Sciences, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline
- Previous experience within QHSE, marine operations, or offshore vessel management
- Knowledge of QHSE systems, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
