Assistant Technical Superintendent

Our client is a ship owner based in Singapore and has grown to become the largest feeder carrier in the world with their vessels travelling through all major ports.  As an independent carrier they provide transportation services to container ship operators and not to proprietary cargo interests or the general public.  They have been very successful over the years, and as a result are opening a new branch in the UK. With expansion set to continue they require a Assistant Technical Superintendent to support the team in UK.


During this period of growth and expansion they have reorganised their management team and require an Assistant Technical Superintendent to support the Technical Superintendent with day to day activities such as, dealing with incoming orders from the ships, create price comparisons and issue orders, and organise the dispatch and transport of deliveries on board the vessel. You will deal with the invoices and monitor the validity of ship certificates and documents.
 

Successful candidates will have:

• Have sailed as a Marine Engineer.
   
• Be I.T literate.
   
• Have excellent command of the English language.
   
• Market leading negotiation skills.
