Our client is a globally recognised maritime logistics and dry bulk shipping provider with a strong international presence and offices across key trade hubs worldwide. With operations spanning more than 13 countries and a controlled fleet of owned and chartered vessels trading across major global routes, they transport a wide range of commodities including metals, minerals, agricultural products and construction materials for over 300 customers annually. Known for delivering customised freight solutions and building long-term client partnerships, they are a market-leading name within the bulk shipping space.

They are now seeking a Panamax Chartering Manager to join their Dubai office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Panamax cargo and tonnage strategies, leveraging existing market relationships to drive fixtures and optimise vessel employment. This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who can actively bring cargo opportunities to the table and ideally has the capability to fix own tonnage, although this is not essential.

The requirements for this role are:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Panamax chartering.

  • Must have existing cargo connections for Panamax vessels.

  • Ability to fix own tonnage preferred but not essential.

  • Fluency in English.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and respected shipping organisation offering a competitive salary, strong commercial exposure, and genuine long-term career progression within a dynamic and international environment.
