Our client is a well-established and internationally recognised maritime organisation with a strong reputation for operational excellence, safety, and compliance across its global fleet operations. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to join their shore-based operations team and support the safe and efficient management of assigned tanker vessels.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day marine and tanker operations of assigned vessels, ensuring safe, efficient, and commercially effective operations at all times. Working closely with vessel crews, charterers, owners, and internal departments, the role will focus on cargo operations oversight, navigational support, regulatory compliance, SIRE/CDI preparation, contingency response, and operational performance monitoring. The position will also play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture across the fleet, supporting incident investigations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and providing leadership and guidance to onboard personnel to ensure the highest operational and compliance standards are consistently achieved.

The requirements for this role are,

  • Minimum 6 months’ sailing experience as a Captain on tanker vessels

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ relevant shore-based experience

  • Experience supporting and managing SIRE inspections

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected maritime organisation offering a competitive salary package, long-term career progression, and the opportunity to work within a collaborative and safety-focused environment.
