Commercial Operator

Our client is one of the world’s largest independent owners and operators of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) carriers, providing LNG and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) services. With a diverse fleet of 90 vessels and 2500 shore and sea staff all over the globe, they are an industry leader in the ever-changing gas sector.
 

Due to recent expansion, they are on the lookout for a Commercial Operator to join the team. In this role you will work closely with all members of the operations, ship and shore teams to enhance commercial and operational performance. In addition to this you will be the day-to-day face of the company to many charterers, and you must act in accordance with company values. Furthermore, you will ensure all matters related to voyage planning and vessel performance are reported correctly and plan instructions for company owned vessels. Finally, you will be expected to treat health and safety as a main priority and ensure compliance throughout all operations.
 

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

• Sailed up to the rank of 2nd officer on LNG Vessels or Tankers or have relevant commercial operations experience in a ship owning or operator set up.
   
• Have familiarity with LNG operations.
   
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
   
• Have the full right to work in the UK.
