Marine Engineer

Our prestigious client has extensive experience in boat building, repair, fabrication, engineering, machining, crane hire, and metal profiling. Based in north east Scotland, the group is a leader in these industries offering excellent career progression. 

Role Description

Our client is looking for full-time engineers to assist with the work at our bases in multiple site in Scotland. Their team of engineers work on a wide range of projects, from engineering fit out on our new build boats, to repair work on existing vessels, general engineering, hydraulics installations, deck machinery manufacture.

From experienced engineers who are used to leading a team, to newly qualified engineers who are just beginning their careers, all applicants will be carefully considered, with competitive pay reflecting past experience and what the individual can bring to the company.

Training can and will be offered as required, to help transition from other industries to marine. Applicants from different sectors such as agriculture, maritime, oil & gas, renewables will all be considered.

Positions are available in all main sites, with engineers expected to travel in company vehicles between sites depending on work at the time.

Qualifications / Skills

• Experienced engineers.
• Experience in the marine industry, oil & gas, or renewables preferred.
• Good communication (good spoken English) and team working skills.
• A good attitude, with reliable time keeping, and friendly.
• UK driving license preferred.
