Consortio is proud to be working in partnership with an internationally active and commercially driven shipbroking house with a strong presence across global freight and asset markets. With its headquarters in Greece and an expanding footprint in key trading hubs, this organisation has built a reputation for disciplined market insight, long-standing client relationships, and entrepreneurial deal-making. As part of its continued international growth, they are now seeking to appoint a Dry Bulk Broker to join their Dubai office, working alongside an established team.

The Dry Bulk Broker will play an integral role in developing and executing chartering opportunities across the dry bulk sector, leveraging market intelligence and client networks to generate new business and strengthen existing relationships. Working within a focused team structure and closely aligned with the head office in Greece, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying cargo and tonnage opportunities, negotiating fixtures, and managing transactions through to conclusion. This position requires commercial awareness, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate independently within a competitive regional market.

To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in dry bulk shipbroking
  • Demonstrable involvement in negotiating and concluding chartering transactions
  • Strong understanding of dry bulk market dynamics and freight structures
  • Established network of owners, charterers, and industry stakeholders
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Currently based in Dubai with the right to live and work locally

This opportunity offers the chance to join a growing brokerage platform within a strategic global hub, operating in a collaborative yet performance-driven environment. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive package, with salary and benefits discussed during the interview process, alongside the opportunity to further develop their career within an internationally connected brokerage structure. If this role aligns with your experience and ambitions, Consortio invites you to submit your CV for confidential consideration.
