Duty-Free Shop Specialist

Consortio have partnered with an internationally recognized shipping company based in Hamburg. They have 40 years’ experience in the shipping business and are currently expanding. They offer many different services within the shipping and maritime sector and are extremely focused on offering brilliant guest satisfaction ratings. Due to the rapidly expanding team they are currently hiring a Duty- Free shop specialist.

As a duty- free shop specialist you will be creating, implementing and monitoring the duty free shop procedures and processes for the company. Have the chance to visit the vessel as required to motivate, lead and develop the sales team on board as well as controlling budgets and revenue. You will be required to negotiate with suppliers on conditions and distribution rights to ensure long term supplier relationships.

To be eligible for this role you need to:

• Have at least 3 years work experience in the duty free or retail industry.
• Have a willingness to travel.
• Excellent command of English.
• Outstanding command of MS office.
• Ability to manage client interactions under time pressure.
