Our client is an established ship management company and provides holistic services and consultancy that is consistently evolving to meet the demand of the shipping industry. They have an industry presence of over 40 years providing the highest quality professional management services. They operate in a number of different markets within the shipping and maritime industry and due to company success and expansion they are now operating within the Cruise sector.
 

The role is for an Electrical and Automation Superintendent to oversee the management of electrical and automation systems of 3 cruise vessels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans and strategies for the electrical and automation systems. Furthermore, you will be expected to effectively troubleshoot electrical and automation issues and implement corrective actions. In addition to this, you will maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers as well as offering technical guidance and support to onboard teams and crew members.
 

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
     
  • Seagoing experience as a Chief Electrician on board Cruise Vessels.
     
  • Extensive experience in electrical and automation systems in the maritime industry.
     
  • Excellent communication skills.
     
  • Willingness to travel and spend time onboard assigned vessels.
