Due to recent expansion, they are currently on the lookout for an Electrical Project Engineer for their LNG fleet. You will be responsible for preparing and actioning project execution plans inclusive of risk, quality, time, and cost management. Furthermore, you will work with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to ensure onboard equipment is maintained as per the maker’s latest guidelines. In addition to this you will be expected to monitor regulating bodies, flag administrations and class societies for changes in future statutory requirements and investigate the most effective and efficient compliance options. Finally, you will need to review develop and implement new engineering practises to support the improvement if USMS and company policy.
To be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
- Sailing experience as an ETO on Gas Carriers.
- Hold STCW Electro-technical officer certificate of competence.
- Hold STCW certification of High Voltage qualification.
